Operator lockout (only available with optional software)
To perform a test with the CoaguChek XS Plus meter, the individual steps must be performed
properly. Optional liquid quality control can be performed on a regular basis to ensure proper
performance of these steps.
The operator lockout prescribes regular liquid quality controls of this type for each operator
(who has been set up).

1 From the main menu screen, touch
Setup.
2 From the Setup menu screen, touch
Lockouts.
3 Touch Operator Lockout.
If this button is shown in gray (inactive),
either no operators have been set up
or the Operator ID option has been
deactivated.
4 Select the interval of choice in which the
mandatory liquid quality control tests
must be carried out.
You may select from the following options:
n No (deactivated)
n Weekly
n Monthly
n Every 3 Months or Every 6 months
n Yearly
