18 Now lance the side of a fingertip with
the lancing device.
19 Apply the blood directly from the finger
to the semicircular, transparent sample
application area of the test strip.
We recommend obtaining the capillary
blood from the side of the fingertip, as
this causes the least pain.
Massage the lanced finger until a drop of
blood is formed. Do not press or squeeze
the finger.
Apply the first drop of blood from the
finger.
