4. The application checks the installed firmware versions on the R&S TSME6 and
which version was used to boot the R&S TSME6. You can store up to four firmware
versions on the R&S TSME6.
The following procedure depends on the detected versions.
● If you use the firmware version required by the application for booting, the
application establishes a connection to the R&S TSME6 directly.
● If the firmware version required by the application is available on the
R&S TSME6, but was not used for booting, the application reboots the
R&S TSME6 using the required firmware version. Then the application estab-
lishes a connection to the R&S TSME6.
