1)
POWER
Switch.
Turns
the
instrument
on
and
off.
Your
E-66
is
provided
with
a
protection
circuit
which
mutes
the
output
for
a
second
or
two
after
the
power
is
turned
on).
2)
DC
IN
Connector.
Connect
the
included
AC
adap-
tor
to
this
power
inlet.
Use
only
the
supplied
adaptor
(ACJ
or
ASA
type).
Using
any
other
adaptor
could
result
in
damage,
malfunction
or
electric
shock.
3)
PHONES
Jack.
Connect
stereo
headphones
(of
8-150
ohms-
optional)
to
this
jack
if
you
wish
to
play
without
disturbing
those
around
you.
4)
FLOPPY
DISK
DRIVE.
It
is
used
to
read
optional
Disks
containing
songs
(SMF
type)
or
MUSIC
STYLES
(MSD
type).
5)
MIDI
IN/OUT/THRU
Sockets.
Use
these
sockets
to
connect
your
E-66
to
external
MIDI
devices.
(If
you're
using
the
E-66
on
its
own,
there
is
no
need
to
be
concerned
with
MIDI.)
6)
SUSTAIN
FOOTSWITCH
Jack.
Connect
an
optional
Sustain
(damper)
pedal
to
this
jack.
(DP-2
or
DP-6
type).
