o Some connecti on cables contain r esisto r s. Do not use cables that
incorporate
resis to rs fo r connecting to this unit. Th e use of such
cables can cause the sound le ve l to be ext remel y l ow, or impossible

Battery handling
o In co r rect handling of bat te ri es, r echa rgeab le batteri es , or a battery

harger can ca u se lea kage, overheating, fi r e, or explosion. Be fo re
use, you must r eael and strictly obse r ve all of the pre cautions that
accompany the batteries, r ec h argeab le ba tt eries, or battery
charger. When using r echargeable ba tte ries and a charger, use

if any other U SB memory is used.

o When connecting a USB m emory, fi rml y insert it all the way into
the FR-3x's USB port.
o Do not touch the pins of the FR-3 x's USB port or allow them to
become dirty.
o Wh il e using an externa l sto r age elevice, please obse r ve the fo llow-
i ng points when handling it:
o To prevent elamage fr om sta tie el ect ri ca l cha r ges, elischarge any
statie electricity that might be present in yo ur boely before han-
elling a USB memory.
o Do not touch the term in als witll yo ur f ingers or any metal
object.
o Do not bend or elrop a USB memory, or subject it to st r ong
impa ct.
o Do not l eave a USB memory in direct sun light or in locations
such as a closeel - up automobil e.
o Do not allow a USB memory to become w et.
o Do not disassemb le or moelify your exte rnal USB memo r y.
o When connecting a USB memory, position it horizontally with the
FR-3 x's USB port and insert it without us in g excessive force. The
USB port may be damaged if you use excessive force w hen insert-
ing a USB memory.
o Do not insert anything other than a USB memory (e.g., w ire, coins,
other types of device) into the U SB po r t. Doing 50 will clamage t he
FR-3x's USB port.
o Do not apply excessive force to the con nected USB memory or the
FR-3 x's USB port.
o Never connect you r USB memor y to t he FR-3x v ia a USB hub .
