These three fixed curves use the same velo city value ,
no matter how hard or lightly yo u press the keys .
"Lo w" means that a low value is used, "Med" repre-
sents a medium val ue and "High" a high va lue.
• Low, Medium, High
The "Low" curve means that even relatively ligh t
presses already allow yo u to play loudnot es . The
"High" curve represents the mos t responsive velocity
cu rve. It requires a considerable amount of strength
for fortissimo
notes , but it al so provides more expres-
sive options. The "Med" curve is in the midd le .

Fi xed L+Bellow s, Fixed M+Bellows
Fi xed H+Bellows
These cu rves mean that the orchestral sound u ses
fixed ve locity val ue s but can also be con trolied by
be l lows movements.
• Bellows
"Bellows"
means that th e Orche s tra section's expres-
sion is controlied by the bellows mo ve me n ts - not
the
veloci ty val u es gen erated by the keys .
[NOTE]
The "Orchestra T ouch" parameter is not used when th e
"Bellows Curve" parameter is set to "F ixed L ow", "Medium"
or "High".
Orchestra Bass/Chord Touch
This parameter allows yo u to specify the III
veloci ty sensi t ivi ty (curve) of the bass
an d chord buttons, which are used to
play orchestral percussive sounds .

Bellows Curve
This parameter allows you to specify •
how the FR -3x should respond to the
bellows' movements. Use it to adapt the
FR-3x's expressive potential to your playing st yle .

"Light" means that yo u do not need to push/pull hard
to achieve ameaningful effect. The " X- Lig h t" req u ires
even less strength (the "X" stan ds for "extra ").

he "Standard" cu rve refers to a normal response .
• Heavy and X Heavy
"Hea vy " provides a greater variety of nuances.
"X- H eavy" is even more detailed.
Stereo Width
Mu ch care has been t aken to provide a
natural stereo image for the accordion
sounds. If you think th e stereo i mage is

too wi de for comfort (or if yo u prefer to set the Pan
controls on yo ur mixing console differen tl y ). yo u can
use th is parameter to reduce the stereo image.

" Ful " (full) represents the wides t stereo i mage .
"nAt" (natu ral) means that the original stereo image is
used.
" -63 " corresponds to an extremely narrow stereo
image.
All other val ue s represent slight (or increasingly dra st ic)
reductions of the stereo wid th.
