Recalling a User Program
Proceed as follows to recall a U ser P rogra m yo u saved
earlier:
1. Press the [USER PROGRAM] button.
T he d isplay now shows a "UP-" m essage.

T he U SE R PRG in d ica t or below t he d isplay lights to
in di cate that t he FR-3x is now in U ser Program mo d e.
2. Press the treble register ([1]~[O]) that is
assigned to the User Program whose set-
tings you want to use.
The "-" to the right of "UP" changes to the nu mber of
t
he selected U ser Program.
3. Start playing with the new settings.
If necessary, yo u can selec t a different U ser P rogram
(see ste p 2 above).
4. Press the [USER PROGRAM] button again to
leave this mode.
The U SER PRG indica t or below the display goes dar k
to indicate tha t the FR-3x is no longer in U ser Pro-
gram mode . At this point, the FR-3x returns to the
settings you were using before seleeting User Pro-
gram mode, and the display once again shows the
main page.
[NOTE]
While t he US ER PROGR AM indica tor below the display
lights, it is impossible to selec t Sets.

Editing a User Program
Yo u can also edit exis t ing U ser P rogra ms.
1. Recall the User Program you want to edit.
See "R ecalling a U ser P rogram ".
2. Press and hold the [USER PROGRAM] button
to
select User Program Edit mode.
T he US ER PRG in d ica t or fl a shes . T he display shows
th e m ain page where t he n um bers of t he selected
re g is t ers a re displayed.
3. Change the settings you want to correct.
4. Press and hold the [USER PROGRAM] button
to enter write mode.
T he d isplay now s ho ws a fl a shing "UP x" me ssage (t he
"x" refers to t he U ser Pro gra m yo u have been editing
thus
far ).

5. Do one of the following:
• To replace (overwrite) t he set t ings of the U ser Pro-
gram you have been edi t in g, press the treble register
corresponding
to its number .
• To save the new version to a different U ser Program
m emory, press the assi g ned t reble register ins t ead .
Your se ttings are sa ve d to the selected User Program
memory.
6. Press the [USER PROGRAM] button again to
leave this mode.
T he US ER PRG indicator below the display goes dark
to indicate that the F R-3x is no l onger · in U ser Pro-
gram mode. At this point, the FR-3x returns to the
settings you were using before selecting User Pro-
gram mode , and the display once again shows the
Illain page.
While the USER PRG illC licator below the display flashes,
YOll can select another Sel.
