The bu tt ons in this section allow you to play both bass
notes and chords. The "real" bass notes are assigned to
the two highligh ted rows. T he remaining butto ns are
u sed to play chords.

chord buttons witho Lit looking at them. At th e factory,
three caps are installed on the black buttons in the fol-
lowing

H ere is how to selec t an accordion so u nd for the bass
an d chord section (Ieft hand). Accordion so u nds for the
left hand can be selected LI sing the 7 registers shown
below.

H ere is how to selec t an orchestral so u nd for the left
hand. While th e bass and chord accordion sections
always u se the sall1e accor d ion soun d, orchestral
sounds can be assigned to only t he bass but tons, only
the chord b utt ons, or both (in wh ich case you can select
dif feren t orchestral sounds for the bass and chord
rows).
1. Switch on the FR-3x,

2. Do one of the following:
• To se l ect an orchestral so u nd for t he bass rows,
si l11u ltaneo usl y press t he three bass registers labele d
"ORCH BASS",

If YOLI prefer to assign an accordion sOLind to t he bass rows
(bass section) at th is stage, again sil11ultaneously press the
three bass registers labeled "O RCH BASS".
