To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn
down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any
connections.

When turning the unit upside-down, get a bunch of newspapers or magazines,
and place them under the four corners or at both ends to prevent damage to the
buttons and controls. Also, you should try to orient the unit so no buttons or
controls get damaged.

When turning the unit upside-down, handle with care to avoid dropping it, or
allowing it to fall or tip over.
Loading the Batteries
Confirm that the power to the unit is turned off, and the + and - ends of the included
batteries are oriented correctly.

When changing the batteries, replace only with four size AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix
new batteries with old ones.
With alkaline batteries, you get approximately ten hours of continuous operation at
normal temperatures (may vary according to usage conditions).
When It’s Time to Change the Batteries

The Battery Low indicator begins to flash when the battery power drops. Insufficient battery
power degrades the sound quality and cause unstable operation. Replace the batteries as
soon as possible.

Connecting the AC Adaptor
The BOSS PSA-series AC adaptor (sold separately) can be used to run the RM-2 from a
household electrical outlet.
Use only the BOSS PSA-series AC adaptor. Other adaptors may cause faulty
operation or damage to the RM-2 and must never be used.
