How to Set the Trigger Parameters
Buttons
[SELECT] button
Selects the parameter (after the parameter name is displayed, the parameters value or type appears).
Holding down the [SELECT] button and pressing [ ]
Takes you back one parameter.
Pressing [ ] or [ ]
Changes the parameters value.
[METRONOME] button
Finalizes the settings that have been made, and takes you back to the screen displayed
during normal use.

When making the settings for threshold, velocity curve, or scan time, the velocity value is shown
(p. 28).
Trigger 1/Trigger 2 Indicators
When a pad connected to Trigger Input 1 or 2 is struck, the corresponding trigger input is
selected, and its indicator flashes. You can then change the trigger parameters for the pad
corresponding to the lit indicator.
This is not displayed when is selected for the input mode. However, during
adjustment of the rim sensitivity, the Trigger 1 indicator lights up when you strike the
head, and Trigger 2 when you strike the rim.
Eight Indicators (along the top of the RM-2)
The indicator for the selected parameter flashes (except for Input Mode and Trigger Type).
