Road wheels-
To remove
I.
Apply the handbrakelparkkg brake.
2.
Remove the wheel disc with the tommy bar
provided in the tool kit.
On all cars other than the Corniche, place the
tommy bar in one of the positions indicated by the
arrows shown in Figure
R2
noting the relationship
between these arrows and the tyre valve and then
press the
tommy bar outwards towards the tyre, Do
not twist the
tommy bar.

and press the tommy bar downwards.
To
removc the wheel trim, place the tommy bar
in position as shown
in
Figure
R4,
then press the
tommy bar outwards towards the tyre; do not twist
the
tommy bar. Repeat this operation at several
points around the circumference of the wheel.
3.
Slacken the wheel retaining nuts approximately
half-a-turn before raising the car. Nuts on the left-
hand wheels have left-hand threads and nuts on the
