d. Push the buckle into the retaining ring until a “clatter” is heard. Pull the buckle to make sure that the belt is fixed in place. The release button shall be in such a
convenient position where you can pull the buckle out at any time.
e. Pull down the belt at the end of the buckle and pull up the shoulder belt to strain the crouch belt. The belt shall be fastened as low as possible, clung to your hip and
pulled to your thigh. Your pelvis would bear the effort in case of car collision and your body would not be likely to slip to under the crouch belt. If you slip to under
the crouch belt, you won’t get hurt due to the belt’s effort on you belly. The shoulder belt shall run across the shoulder before running across the chest. And the body
part is the best part to bear the binding force of the belt. The belt would be locked if pulled in emergent brake, collision or out of the fast shrinking device.
Pinch the red release button on the buckle lock device to unlock the belt. The belt shall be kept away from the polish, grease and chemicals and the battery acid in
particular. The belt can be washed with water and soft soap. The belt shall not be twisted or the belt will be abraded. If the belt is abraded or damaged, replace it.
Even if the damage is not obvious after serious abrasion, the whole assembly shall be replaced.
If the belt were fastened in a too loose position, you may get serious hurt. And you may get more serious injury due to too much forward move in the collision.
The shoulder belt shall cling to your body and please wear the belt correctly for your safety.
