the sudden move of the seat. Thus, do adjust the driver’s seat only when the car is out of driving.
2. Safety belt (optional)
If you run into car accident without wearing the safety belt, you may get serious hurt. You may run into some part of the car, or be kicked back, or get serious
hurt, or even die in the similar car accident. You won’t get hurt if wearing a safety belt. Wear the safety belt all the time in driving and make sure that your passengers
also fasten their safety belts.
(1) How does the safety belt function?
When you are in any moving object, you will move forward at the same speed with the object. When the object stops suddenly, you won’t stop immediately until
running into some object. You may run into the front windshield, instrument panel or safety belt. If you bump into the belt, you will slow down at the same speed
with the object. You will travel a longer distance in a longer time before stop. The effort born by your strongest bones will protect your other body parts from
collision. That is the significance of the safety belt.
a. Close the door.
b. Adjust the seat to make your upper body sit up straight.
c. Take the safety belt buckle and pull up the belt around you body. Keep the belt in a flat position without twist. The belt may get locked if pulled too fast. In this
case, unlock the belt by slowly pulling the belt back. Then pull up the belt around you body at a slightly slower speed.
