Functional options
No error messages are transmitted via the connection cable
► Do not start the generator in enclosed rooms or equipment rooms.
► If the unit is installed in enclosed rooms or equipment rooms, a start
interruption must be provided.
► It must not be possible to start the generator remotely in an en-
closed space.
► The use of the remote start/stop connection cable with HDSCS plug is
only permitted in conjunction with a functional and switched-on control
panel.
It must be possible to switch off the power generator at any time
using the emergency stop switch.

6.4.4 Battery temperature monitoring
The temperature-dependent charging voltage of the battery is automatically
adapted to the battery temperature. At low temperatures (winter operation)
the charging voltage is increased, a weakened battery is charged better
and faster. At high temperatures, the charging voltage is lowered, thus re-
ducing the load (gassing) on the battery. The battery temperature is deter-
mined by a sensor and made available via a standardized Firecan
connection.
For optimal charging, some vehicle chargers require a sensor listed as op-
tional in the Firecan specification, which provides the battery temperature
via the standardized Firecan plug.
The temperature is not displayed on the power generator. The resist-
ance value at the Firecan connector is between pin 7 and pin 1 (+12V).
The temperature sensor is an NTC with 510 Ohm at 20 °C.
