7 Operation
7.1 Preparation for initial operation
The sequence of the described processes is to be maintained without ex-
ception!
Before initial start-up, check the correct fluid level of all consumables.
► Fuel in tank.
► The power generator is delivered in unfilled state, fill the fuel tank
before initial start-up.
For further information refer to Chapter "Refuel"
► Oil in propulsion engine.
Before starting note the advice in the operating instructions of the en-
gine manufacturer.
► Wear personal protection equipment.
► Check all relevant indicators and instruments for function and condi-
tion.
► Carry out a complete visual check of the power generator.
7.2 Transport
CAUTION!
Risk of injury to operating personnel during transport!
The device may only be transported using the carry handles provided on
the base frame. Unfolded handles represent a tripping hazard.
Incorrect transport can lead to injuries to the operating personnel and
to damage to the device.
Fold the unfolded handles after use.
NOTICE
Material damage due to incorrect transport!
Incorrect transport can lead to damage to the device.
Do not transport device while in operation.
Only transport the device when the propulsion engine has come to a
standstill.
Do not operate device with transport damage.
Allow the device to cool down after operation in order to dissipate any
radiant heat on the carrying handles, depending on the operating time.
Only transport the device in the holders provided for this purpose in the
vehicle or by tying it down appropriately.
