Service cover
► Remove the both screws on the service cover. Carefully pull service
cover away downwards.
Additionally the pump for external refuelling is attached to the ser-
vice cover. Do not tension the cable and hoses connected to it.
Place a suitable collection vessel underneath the power generator to
collect escaping fuel. Dispose of collected fuel properly.
► Loosen the two spring band clamps on the fuel filter with suitable pli-
ers. Full fuel filter off the fuel lines.
Dispose of fuel filter properly.
► Reconnect the new fuel filter to the fuel lines.
Ensure correct flow direction.
► Attach the two spring band clamps back on to the fuel filter.
► Mount the service cover again with both screws. Seal in the fastening
screws with a liquid-locking compound, e.g. Loctite.
Make sure that no cables or hoses are strained or clamped during
installation.
The fuel filter is replaced.
8.5.4 Electrical protection and switching devices
The circuits on the electrical control unit, lighting etc. are secured on the
power generator by fuses. The fuse carriers are located below the battery
compartment cover.
The relay carrier is located behind the lining, the front side electrical con-
nection options.
The freewheeling diode of the starter relay is located "flying" on the wiring
harness inside the carrying frame in the area of the ignition coil.
Before replacing the burnt out fuse, check the cause of the defect. Do not
repair defective fuses and relays - fire risk. Only use prescribed fuses and
relays.
Fuse allocation:
• F28 - 6.3A (FireCAN, RLS lighting head, battery temperature sensor,
MAGCODE)
• F57 - 16A (control unit)
• F130 - 0.05 A (LED lighting)
Relay allocation:
• K97 Engine stop (control unit, FireCan and remote stop HDSCS)
• K204 engine is running
