Operation
Operation for network-independent power supply only for emergency ser-
vices.
Supply of a public or private network only in compliance with valid laws and
standards. Supply only by qualified electrical engineering personnel and in
appropriately designed systems.
When supplying a public or private network it is necessary to obtain approv-
al from the network operator!
The switch Direct supply/system supply switches between the direct
supply and system supply operating modes.
Direct supply
► Switch the Direct supply/system supply switch to Position 1.
Direct supply of the power generator is activated.
All corresponding sockets are supplied via the power generator.
The 400 volt emergency socket for building feed is de-energised.
Direct supply
The power generator is in Standard mode and works like an isolated IT net-
work. This corresponds to the functionality of a normal RS14, without the
option "building feed for emergency power supply". The sockets at the front
are supplied with voltage. The outer conductor and the neutral conductor of
the 400 V CEE supply socket (white, 1-h position) are physically separated
from the generator. The insulation monitor is activated. With direct supply
there may not be any connection with the system.
