4.14. Change of gear oil
During the first 5 operating hours wear is highest. For this reason the gear oil must be changed
after the first 5 operating hours (and then after every 50 operating hours).
Proceed as follows:
¨ Open the oil drain screw (pos. 2).
¨ Collect the drained oil in a suitable
container.
Note: Dispose of the old oil
according to the regulations of
your country.
¨ Clean the oil drain screw.
¨ Fit the oil drain screw and tighten it
with 20 Nm (177 lb. in.).
¨ Open the oil refill screw (pos. 1).
¨ Fill in 0,25 l (0.066 gal.) of motor oil of quality SAE 15 W 40.
¨ Check the oil level at the inspection glass.
¨ Hand tighten the oil refill screw (pos.1)
Attention: Never use the engine without
motor oil, this would damage the
engine.
