b. If set to 0, the gateway will communicate as fast as possible to the PLC and generate the
most traffic.
c. In applications with a heavy network, it is recommended that you increase this delay to
limit network traffic.
7) Heartbeat Tag/File: This Tag or File will act as an incremental counter for messages passed
though the gateway.
a. This should be an INT Data Type.
b. This can be used to monitor if the gateway has stopped communicating with the PLC.
