4. Plate Preservation
To
use the metal plate over again, correct plate preservation is necessary.
I.
Using a sponge soaked with water, apply water onto the plate surface.
Then using cleaning solution, wash off the ink on the plate surface
and then rinse the plate surface with water.

Apply the metal plate protection ink on the plate after dampening the
plate surface.
3.
First rinse it with water, then dry it, then apply
gum
solution and
finally
dry it.
5.
Cleaning the Plate Holding Roller
1) Remove the plate holding roller.
2) Clean the plate holding roller.
Maintenance Edition - 8
Loosen the plate holding roller fixing knobs (
1)
and remove the roller.
Wipe off any stains on the roller surface with a cotton rag containing
water and cleaning solution.
