few minutes to enhance satellite reception.
Environmental factors such as tall buildings, trees and
thick cloud may interfere with the smartwatch's ability
to acquire satellite signals. We recommend connecting
the smartwatch to the Ryze Connect App regularly. This
will help the smartwatch acquire a faster satellite fix
with Assisted GPS (A-GPS) data.
2.8.5 SMART COMPETITOR
When you choose Outdoor Run for your workout session,
you can enable an artificial running companion to
compete against your own performance.
1) Press the smartwatch button to open the applications
list on the watch home screen.
2) Tap Workout.
3) Find Outdoor Run and tap
next to it. Look for
and tap on Smart Competitor. To enable Smart
Competitor, choose a benchmark companion. The
options are Average Pace and Rolling Pace. To turn
o Smart Competitor, select Close.
4) Tap the on-screen Target Time button to set a time.
After setting the time, tap
to start the running
session. Move to an open area and wait for a satellite
fix or skip the step.
To view your performance against the smart competitor,
scroll down the data screen during the running workout.
2.8.6 RUNNING COURSES
The watch provides running courses to help develop
your running. Each course varies in its exercise duration
and comprises dierent phases of speed walking and
running.
