What to do if Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr has no lights?
    • E
      Elizabeth MoonAug 22, 2025
First, ensure the transformer is correctly plugged into both the wall and the power input of the T-Max® Mgr. Try a different outlet, and if using a surge suppressor or UPS, plug the T-Max® Mgr directly into the wall. Check your building's circuit breaker. Finally, use a voltmeter to check the transformer voltage, which should be 9VAC at the connection to the T-Max® Mgr.

Why does Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr show communication error when running ADNET C1?
    • J
      Juan SandersSep 4, 2025
When running ADNET C1, if the computer beeps, the screen displays a communication error, and all 128 beds show 0.00, it means ADNET.EXE cannot locate the T-Max® Mgr. Ensure the serial cable is connected to both the computer and the T-Max® Mgr. Press the ESC key to exit ADNET, returning to the C:\> prompt. Verify the T-Max® Mgr has power. If the problem persists, identify the serial port to which the T-Max® Mgr is connected.

What to do if Salon Systems T-Max® Manager won't start beds, the light is illuminated and displays show 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8?
    • A
      anthony05Sep 3, 2025
If the T-Max® Manager won't start beds, the light beside “Show beds 57-64” is illuminated, and the displays show 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, the T-Max® Manager has likely lost its program. Connect the T-Max® Manager to a serial port on your PC. Insert the T-Max® Utilities diskette into drive A on your computer. If you're running tanning software, exit it completely. If using Windows® 95, go to the DOS prompt. Type A: and press Enter, then type ADNET and press Enter.

What causes Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr to show 65535 for each bed in ADNET?
    • K
      Kelli PatrickSep 1, 2025
If ADNET shows 65535 for each bed when checking Lamp Hours (or any parameter), it's because you're checking parameters from a Slave T-Max® Mgr. To resolve this, cycle power on the T-Max® Mgr and observe display 7. After 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 momentarily appear, displays 7 and 8 will briefly show numbers. If display 7 shows a number other than 0, you are on the Slave T-Max® Mgr and need to switch to the Master T-Max® Mgr.

Why does Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr display EEEE when checking lamp hours?
    • K
      Katherine EdwardsAug 31, 2025
If checking Lamp Hours (or any parameter) on the T-Max® Mgr and Displays 7 and 8 show EEEE, and you are using the T-Max® Mgr manually, check Display 5. If the number on Display 5 doesn't match an existing bed number, press the Set button under Display 5 until it displays a valid bed number.

What to do after running Rescan in ADNET if the Salon Systems screen does not show the beds added or subtracted?
    • M
      michaelshawAug 29, 2025
After running Rescan in ADNET, if the screen doesn't reflect added or subtracted beds, press V. A window displaying software versions will appear. Press V again to close the window and apply the correct configuration.

What to do if Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr slave doesn't show beds?
    • R
      Ryan FisherAug 27, 2025
If the Slave T-Max® Mgr isn't showing any beds, first check the modular cable connection to the Slave unit. Next, recycle power to the Master T-Max® Mgr. Also, verify that the address jumper isn't conflicting with any other T-Max® Mgrs; each unit must have a unique address (refer to Section 7.2 and Section 12.8 Figure H).

What to do if Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr displays two dashes when powered on?
    • E
      elizabethsantiagoAug 27, 2025
If the T-Max® Mgr shows two dashes where a bed should be displayed upon power-up, start by checking the Maximum Bed Number setting on the T-Max® Mgr (refer to Section 5.2). Ensure this value is equal to or higher than the address of the T-Max® 3A with the highest address. Also, confirm that power is applied and modular cables are connected to each T-Max® 3A. Try using a new modular cable between the last displayed T-Max® 3A and the first missing one. If a spare isn't available, swap the cable with one from two functioning T-Max® 3As.
  • J
    Joseph LawrenceAug 25, 2025
Why does Salon Systems T-Max® Mgr show two dashes instead of beds?
    • A
      April KingAug 26, 2025
If the T-Max® Mgr displays two dashes instead of showing a bed, verify that power is supplied and the modular cable is connected to each T-Max® 3A. Check the Maximum bed number setting on the T-Max® Mgr, ensuring it matches the highest address of any T-Max® 3A (refer to Section 5.2). Cycle the power to the T-Max® Mgr to rescan the network. Ensure each T-Max® 3A has a unique address. If issues persist, try swapping the T-Max® 3A and its transformer with a working one.

What to do if Salon Systems T-Max® Manager won't start beds and shows strange characters?
    • K
      kbryanAug 23, 2025
If the T-Max® Mgr doesn't turn on beds and the display shows strange characters, it indicates the program is lost or corrupted. To fix this, go to the C:\> prompt and type ADNET C1. Once the ADNET Utility program is on the screen, press L, then press Y, followed by the Enter key.
