1)Monitoringthesupplieslife
Ifyouexperiencefrequentpaperjamsorprintingproblems,checkthenumberofpagesthemachinehasprintedorscanned.
Replacethecorrespondingparts,ifnecessary.
1)SelectMenu>SystemSetup>Maintenance>SuppliesLifeonthecontrolpanel.
2)SelecttheoptionyouwantandpressOK.
•SuppliesInfo:Printsthesupplyinformationpage.
•Total:Displaysthetotalnumberofpagesprinted.
•ADFScan:Displaysthenumberofpagesprintedbyusingthedocumentfeeder.
•PlatenScan:Displaysthenumberofpagesscannedbyusingscannerglass.
3)Press“Stop/Clear”toreturntoreadymode.
2)Altitudeadjustment
Printqualityisaffectedbyatmosphericpressure,whichisdeterminedbytheheightofthemachineabovesealevel.The
followinginformationwillguideyouonhowtosetyourmachineforthebestprintquality.
Beforeyousetthealtitudevalue,determinethealtitudewhereyouare.

ClickPrinterSetting.ClickSetting>AltitudeAdjustment.Selecttheappropriatevaluefromthedrop-downlist,and
thenclickApply.
YoucanalsosetthealtitudeinSystemSetupoptiononthemachine’sdisplay.
•Select“Menu>SystemSetup>MachineSetup>AltitudeAdj.onthecontrolpanel.
