Before any welding is done on a
machine equipped with a CEC shift
system, disconnect battery equalizer
ground cables, battery cables from
terminal posts (ground cable first),
battery equalizer positive cables
and electrical connections at the
ECU to avoid damage to electrical
components. Turn off ignition key
switch to isolate the batteries before
disconnecting any components.
The standard procedure for raising the
body must still be adhered to.
