CUSTOM-DESIGNED CHARACTER EXAMPLE
The following example is presented to help understand the use of the Custom
Designed Characters command. It demonstrates the design and printing of an “arrow”
in a 16 x 16 matrix.
1. Determine which matrix size to use
• 16 dot x 16 dots
• 24 dots by 24 dots
2. Lay out a grid and draw the image on the grid.
• Each square represents one dot
• Blacken squares for each printed dot
