INTERFACE SELECT
Select the download method.
• INTERFACE: Download the program from the interface.
• SD CARD: Download the program from an SD card.
• USB MEMORY: Download the program from a USB memory.
DOWNLOAD READY
The printer is waiting to receive download data from the interface selected
on the DATA PORT screen in the interface mode.
The following data will be received from the PC and written to the main
ROM.
(1) Firmware data
(2) Font/logo data
(3) TrueType font
When firmware data is received, it goes to the RECEIVING… screen.
When font, logo and TrueType font are received, it goes to the FONT
DOWNLOAD READY screen.
Note
Shows only if INTERFACE SELECT is set to INTERFACE.
FONT DOWNLOAD READY
The printer is waiting to receive font data.
When downloading the font for the first time, it goes to the RECEIVING…
screen.
When overwriting or deleting existing font data, it goes to the DELETING…
screen.
