Environment and safety
Lift the engine out
Always use the engine lifting eyes. Always
check that lifting devices are in good condition
and are designed to lift the weight.
Optional equipment on the engine can change
the centre of gravity. This means that it may be
necessary to use additional lifting devices to bal-
ance the engine correctly and lift it safely.
WARNING!
Never work underneath a suspended engine!
Batteries
WARNING!
The batteries contain highly corrosive sulphuric
acid. Take care to protect your eyes, skin and
clothes when charging or handling batteries.
Wear protective gloves and goggles.
If sulphuric acid comes in contact with the skin:
Wash with soap and plenty of water. If it gets in
your eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of wa-
ter and seek medical attention.
Environment
Always hand in used batteries to an authorised
waste disposal contractor.
