Danger due to very high spring forces!

For sizes PZN-plus 240, 300 and 380 with gripping force
maintenance, we strongly recommend having the gripper
disassembled by SCHUNK for maintenance and seal
replacement.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to spring forces!
During disassembly, the cover may be ejected due to the high
spring forces.
l
Prevent the cover from being ejected during disassembly (e.g.
in the press)
WARNING
Risk of injury due to unexpected movements!
If the power supply is switched on or residual energy remains in
the system, components can move unexpectedly and cause
serious injuries.
l
Before starting any work on the product: Switch off the power
supply and secure against restarting.
l
Make sure, that no residual energy remains in the system.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to spring forces!
The spring-loaded pressure piece is under spring tension and
may jump out when being removed.
l
Carefully unfasten the set screw and slowly remove the
spring-loaded pressure piece.
