10-Hour Inspection
It is highly recommended that after the first 10 hours of operation, the boat be
checked by an authorized SEA-DOO sport boat dealer. This inspection will also
provide the opportunity to discuss any unanswered questions you may have en-
countered during the first hours of operation.
The following chart should be used in conjunction with Mercury chart. Refer to
M

Jet Drive Operator‘s Guide.
The 10-hour inspection is at the expense of the boat owner.
We recommend that this inspection chart be signed by an authorized SEA-DOO
sport boat dealer.
10-HOUR INSPECTION CHECK LIST ✓
Pressure test fuel system and inspect lines and fasteners
Adjust throttle cable if required
Inspect oil lines
Inspect muffler, battery and reservoir fasteners
Retighten exhaust system hose clamps
Inspect steering system and low-speed steering control system
Adjust steering cable if required
Adjust shift cable if required
Ensure that throttle/shift levers keep the selected position.
Adjust lever friction as necessary
Inspect condition of hoses and clamps
Verify operation of bilge pump and bilge blower
Verify starter switch and safety lanyard stop switch
Verify monitoring beeper
Inspect electrical connections (starter, battery, etc.)
Inspect lighting system
Inspect condition of hull condition
