ALIGNING THE PRINT HEADS
The print heads must be aligned after being installed into the unit, or if lines are printed
unevenly. (See the illustration on page 19) Follow the steps listed below to align the print
heads.

Insert paper into the unit
Refer to "LOADING PAPER" for more information (See page 20).

Press the "MENU" button and then repeatedly press the or
"ARROW" buttons until "Maintenance" is displayed on the first
line of the display panel.

Repeatedly press the or "ARROW" buttons until "Align
Print Head" appears on the second line of the display panel.

Press the "ENTER" button.
The message shown below will appear on the display panel and alignment patterns will
be automatically printed.
