Telephone line cord
Insert one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL. LINE jack. Insert the
other end into a standard (RJ11C) single-line telephone wall jack.
Be sure to insert the
telephone line cord into
the
TEL. LINE
jack.
Do not
insert it into the
TEL. SET
jack!

Your fax is set for touch-tone dialing. If you are on a pulse dial (rotary) line,
you must set the fax for pulse dialing by changing Option Setting 8. This
procedure is described in Chapter 8, "Option Settings".

If you intend to use a computer fax modem on the same phone line, you must
reset Option Setting 12 (Fax Signal Receive) to NO in order to prevent
transmission and reception errors. This procedure is described in Chapter 8,
"Option Settings".
