3.5.8 Instrument display
Menu: Parameterization/Instrument display
This menu serves to configure the device display:
● Measuring Screen.
● Password for the operator panel on the device.
▸ If parameters have been changed and if the Measuring Screen is currently being dis-
played on the device: The display on the device must be refreshed so that the changes
are shown on the device display.
a) Press the menu-dependent button "Menu" on the device
b) Press "MEAS"
3.5.9 System parameter
Menu: Parameterization/System parameter
System parameters are shown in this menu.
Instrument name (name of the system) and time of the MCS300P can be set.
▸ Password, with 4 digits.
(Note: Password will first be saved
after a hardware reset (→ p. 41,
§3.7.3)
▸ Configuration (Tags
→ p. 42, §3.8) of
Measuring Screen.
▸ Validity duration of the password-
protected level.
(Note: First saved after a hardware
reset (→ p. 41, §3.7.3)
▸ Start and end values for
display range for bar
and line diagrams.
Start value must be
lower then the end value
(no plausibility check
during entry).
▸ Number format in dis-
play: Number of deci-
mal places.
▸ Instrument name
l Allow IP-configuration
Checkmark: MCS300P IP configuration can be
modified with SOPAS ET.
▸ Instrument language:
de = German, en = English
fr = French, es = Spanish
Save with "Initialize” (menu: Maintenance/
Operating states → p. 40, §3.7.2)
▸ Transfer the PC time to MCS300P
