3.1 Natural cooling
For naturally cooled motors, the heat loss is dissipated through thermal conduction, radiation
and natural convection. As a consequence, adequate heat dissipation must be guaranteed
by suitably mounting the motor.
To ensure sufficient cooling, a minimum clearance of 100 mm from adjacent components
must be observed on three sides.
The rated data only applies when the ambient temperature does not exceed 40 °C (104 °F)
as a result of the installation conditions.
