2.8.2 Installing the Optional ULTRAMAT / OXYMAT / CALOMAT 6 Field Housing Module
☛ Note
The A5E00015899 Exi module for intrinsically safe connection to the PROFIBUS-PA may only be
installed in Exp[ia/ib] field housing devices.
With all other non-Ex devices only the A5E00034504 for non-intrinsically safe connection to
PROFIBUS-PA or the A5E00019145 module for connection to the PROFIBUS-DP can be installed.
Installation instructions:
• Disconnect the device from the mains
• Open the left-hand housing door
• Remove the sheet metal cover
• Remove the sheet metal cassette from the device
• Remove the old optional module if installed
• Fit the module in the rail
• Fasten the module with the M3 screws to the underside of the cassette between connectors
• Fit the bracket on the top edge of the optional module
• Connect the connectors to the motherboard
• Fit the sheet metal cassette in the device
• Connect the 37 Sub-D-connector with the terminal block
• Replace sheet metal cover
• Connect the device to the PROFIBUS
• Connect the device to the mains
