2.8.3 Installing the ULTRAMAT 23 Optional Module
☛ Note
With the ULTRAMAT 23 only the A5E00034504 module can be installed for non-intrinsically safe
connection to PROFIBUS-PA and the A5E00019145 module for connection to the PROFIBUS-DP.
• Disconnect the device from the mains
• Unscrew and remove the housing cover
• Remove the old optional module if installed
• Fasten the module with the M3 screws to the rear panel between connectors
• Fasten the module to the housing base with plastic bolt (included in add-on kit).
• Connect the connectors to the motherboard
• Screw on housing cover
• Connect the device to the PROFIBUS
• Connect the device to the mains
