Step by Step
Lamp is lit – the secretary is making a call:
Press the key.
You are camped on to the secretary’s call. The secretary
hears an alerting tone; the call pickup key flashes.

If the secretary accepts the call:
Lift the handset.
or Handset on-hook: speakerphone.
Taking a call for the executive in the
secretary’s office
When a call is received for the executive, the telephone
rings in the secretary’s office.
C
Lift the handset.
or Press the key. The lamp lights up.
Speakerphone.
Taking a call for the executive during a call in
progress
You are making a call.
A call is received for the executive.
Ask the other party to wait, then press the flashing key.
Answer the call.
Terminating the call – returning to the first call:
Press the key.
Continue your original call.
Secretary
The procedure is the same for a direct call from
the secretary’s office to the executive – with the
executive DSS key.
