14. IftheburnerhasaVariableSpeedDrive(VSD)ontheblower,itmustbestandardized.Inmost
cases, the VSD is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).See Section 5 in this literature if the VFD
parametersarenotalreadyset,andforamoredetailedstandardizationprocedure.IftheVFD
parameters
areset,standardizetheVFDusingthefollowingmenupath:
Params&Display>VSDModule>Configuration> Speed
OnceStandardizationissetto“activated”,theairdampershouldopentoitspre‐purgeposition,
andtheblowershouldrampup,pause,andthenrampbackdown.Ifthisdoesnotoccur,make
surethattheVSDissetto“airinfluenced”andthesafetyloopisclosed.
TransferringParameterSetsUsingtheAZLDisplay
This procedure will detail how to transferaparameterset from one burnertoanotherburner.In this
example, the parameter set will originate from Burner #1 (B1) and will be copied to Burner #2 (B2).
Naturally,usingasimilarprocedure,theparametersetfromBurner#1canbecopiedtoBurners#3,#4,
#5,etc.TheACS450PCsoftwarecanalsobeusedforthispurpose(seeSection9).
Note:Passwords are transferred with the parameter sets.
Manual operation settings are not
transferredwithparametersets.
1. ObtaintheOEMorservicelevelpasswordsforB1andB2.
2. OnB1,uploadallofthecurrentparametersfromth
eLMV5totheAZLflashmemoryusingthe
followingmenupath:
Updating>ParamBackup>LMV5x‐>AZL
TheOEMorservicelevelpasswordforB1willbenecessarytoaccessthis.Thiswilluploadallof
thecurrentLMV5parameterstotheAZLflashmemory.ThisprocessiscompletewhentheAZL
states "Parametershavebeen stored". IftheLMV5onB2 is known tohavea blank burner ID,
thenpoweroffB1LMV5,removetheAZL,andskiptostep5.Oth
erwise,gotothenextstep.
3. WritedownB1burnerID.Thiscanbefoundatthefollowingmenupath:
Operation>BurnerID
Afterthisstep,B1LMV5canbepoweredoff.AfterB1ispoweredoff,removetheAZL.
