The setting must be made in agreement with the standard of the
pager and the extra information attached to the phone number of
the selected TAP pager telephone provider. The OCI600 limits the
maximum number of characters to 80 however. So, with a pager
using 160 characters and the information “00491712092522, 8N1,
160“ delivered by your provider, the setting required is “Alphanu-
meric pager, 80 characters (8N1)“
Note: When making parameter settings (device names, plant
name, alarm text, etc.) use only permitted characters, too:
a-z A-Z 0-9 blanks ! „ # $ % & ‚ ( ) * + ` - . / : ; < = > ? @.
