5 Communication and delivery
of alarms
5.1 Access authorization
Each time a connection is built up, whether directly via RS-
232 port or via modem and the public telephone network, a
password is required. A connection can only be opened
when the password on the ACS7... operator station and that
on the OCI600 agree.
To change the code number, which is used as the password,
proceed as follows:
1. From ACS Service – [Popcard], select operating page
Passwords.
Note: To do this, an online connection to the OCI600 is
required.
2. Enter the new numeric password under “Code No.“ (ma-
ximum 7 digits starting with 0, e.g. 07845).
3. Select Plant > Plant properties…
4. Choose Next to go to the Communication menu.
5. Enter the new numeric password under Code number
as described in step 2 and close by choosing Finish.
