(8) Spindle selection switch
It is the function switch to select spindle in manual operation of the machine.
Available mode for spindle selection switch is
Use this switch to select spindle when operating the machine.
Please keep in mind that there are no selection switches as follows in standard 2-axes
machine.
Spindle rotation (FWD/REV), jog operation and spindle override selection switch on
operation panel can be activated effectively only when the selected spindle changes to
speed control mode.
When selecting the main spindle selection switch, the LED is
turned on after completion of selecting main spindle.
When selecting rev.(milling) spindle selection switch, This switch is
available only for the machine that has the 2
nd
spindle.
the LED is ON after completion of rev. spindle selection.
When main spindle is selected, if C-axis selection button is
pressed, the state of main spindle will be changed to Contouring
control mode. And when sub spindle is selected, if C-axis selection
button is pressed, the state of sub spindle will be changed to
contouring control mode.
According to the turning center type, it is available only for the
machine that has milling and sub spindle.
