9.5 Cool jet coolant operation
The setting of machine data listed below should be set to “1”.
Do not use cool jet motor.
(1) Cool jet operation
Cool jet is only possible to do automatic command using the M-code listed below.
M07 ; Optional coolant or cool jet “ON”
M09 ; Optional coolant or cool jet “OFF”
1) Operate standard coolant (Automatic or manual command).
At this time, the lamp of coolant operation switch in operation panel is flickering.
2) Command M07
3) Cool jet will be operated after 1 sec. since commanding is done.
At this time, the lamp of coolant operation switch in operation panel is ON.
4) Command M09, then both of standard and cool jet will stop.
1. Cool jet and optional coolant can not be used simultaneously.
2. Cool jet normally operates only when standard coolant is operating.
Be sure to command cool jet when standard coolant is operating.
Beside commanding M09, cool jet and standard coolant will also stop in cases listed
below.
- Do the machine emergency stop.
- Command M02 / M30.
- Command M00 / M01.
(Coolant stopped by M00 / M01 will be restarted basically when automatic
operation is restarted.)
