7.2 Requirements for the commissioning
Requirements
● The F-TM ServoDrive was installed according to the information in the following sections:
– Wiring (Page 20)
– Configuring (Page 51)
● The motor is installed in the drive train to be operated in accordance with the plant/device
construction planning.

Before powering on for the first time
Before the first power-on, check the installation and the wiring of the F-TM ServoDrive.
Questions for the check
The following questions provide guidance for checking your F-TM ServoDrive in the form of a
checklist.
Racks
● Is the mounting rail securely mounted to the wall, in the frame or in the cabinet?
● Are the cable ducts correctly installed?
● Have the minimum clearances been observed?
Grounding and chassis concept
● Is the mounting rail connected to the protective conductor?
● Is the connection between the ground reference and ground properly established for the
mounting rail?
● Are the required equipotential bonding cables connected with low impedance to the
affected plant units?
