FM 351 Positioning Function Module

Now configure the project under STEP 7 such that parameterization with the
parameterization mask is possible.
Step What Must Be Done?
1 Configure a new project under STEP 7.
2 Build up a new rack.
3 Enter your hardware installation into the rack with the configuration interface.
4 Select the FM 351 from the module catalog and drag it to the selected slot.
5 Note the module address which is now displayed. ____
6 Now call the parameterization masks for the FM 351 by double clicking the order number.
Parameterize the module.
Step What Must Be Done?
1 Fill in the masks in the basic parameterization.
2 Click the Parameter... button.
3 Fill in the dialog masks Drive axis and Encoder.
4 Save the parameterization with the menu point File

5 Call Test

Set up.
6 S Load the machine data into the FM 351. To do this, select the Load button.
S If the FM 351 contains valid data, select the button Activate.
Result:
S The Start enable LED must light.
S The Parameterized LED in the service mask must light.
If an error occurs:
Evaluate the error messages in the mask Error evaluation and change the relevant machine data.
7 Switch on the module enable in the mask Test: Set up.
