Bus device N4 – while adhering to the maximum distance of 700 m between bus
devices – cannot be integrated on the bus if bus device N3 is integrated with a loop
(instead of a sub-line).
If a maximum distance of 350 m is maintained between the central bus power
supply PSU and a bus device without a bus supply, the bus power supply unit must
be located at the point between 150 m and 250 m on the 400 m section shown.
