4.3 Cutting the conduit openings
The 4004R cabinet does not provide conduit knockouts. Cutting conduit openings must be done without the electronics assembly installed
in the cabinet.
Keep the following guidelines in mind when cutting conduit openings:
Remove the electronics assembly before cutting conduit openings. Refer to Removing or Installing the Electronics Assembly, earlier in
this chapter.
Remove all metal shards from the cabinet after cutting openings.
AC power (non-power limited) wiring must be run in separate conduit from all other wiring, as shown in the figure below. Non-power
limited wiring must be separated from power limited wiring by a minimum of ¼ inch (6.35 millimeters).
Other non-power limited wiring from Aux Relays, that is 120 VAC, must be run in a separate conduit. Non-power limited wiring must be
separated from power limited wiring by a minimum of ¼ inch (6.35 millimeters).
