15.Remove the motor shaft assembly and the center
case sub-assembly.

16. While holding pistons into pump cylinder block with
your fingers, remove the cylinder block from the
pump input shaft.

17.Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance
between the swash plate and the shift blocks.
Clearance: 0–0.008” (0–0.2 mm)
Wear limit: 0.012” (0.3 mm)
Note: An excess amount of clearance at these points
can make it difficult or impossible to adjust neutral.
