To Ihread your maehine eorreetly, lollow lhe steps below:
• Raise
lake-up lever (8) lo highesl posilion by lurning hand wheel loward you.
• Raise presser
1001 lo release Ihread tension.
• Plaee spool
01 Ihread on spool pin (1).
• Slide spool eap (2) lirmly over rim
01 spool lo prevenI Ihread langling .
• Lead Ihread lrom spool and snap into Ihread guide (3) and over (4).
• Thread lhe
lension dises by leading Ihread down againsl lhe lab (6), as shown, belween
lhe
lension dises and up under lhe spring on lhe left side. Hold lhe spool lighlly wilh
linger, pull Ihread genlly up and lo lhe righl, lifting lhe spring and
allowing Ihread lo slip
inlo Ihread guardo Then, lead Ihread up behind Ihread guide (7).
• Slip Ihread into take-up lever as illuslraled (8).
• Pass Ihread Ihrough guides (9) and (10).
• Thread needle lrom tront lo back, pulling 4" (10 em)
