Sleeves
• Free -ar m sew ing takes lhe dilf icu lty out of
topstitch ing, sleeves, finishing waistbands
and trouser legs rotate smoothly under the
need le, around the arm, allowrng you to
place your stitching
accurately .
Buttons
• Sewing buttons on a culf or neckband is
easy with free-arm sewing. The sewing
arm
allows room for culfs to slip onto
without being stretched out of shape, and
you can also see and handle the stitch ing
area more easily.
Bar tacks
• Bar tacks reinforce areas of strain and can
be applied to ready-made garments, as
well as to those sewn at home . Use the
free-arm surface to avo id fabric bulk
around the needle when you apply bar
tacks to pockets, pleats and waistl ines.

tirantez y pueden aplicarse a prendas
confecci onadas, asi
como a aquellas
costuras dei hogar. Utilice la superficie de
la base libre para evitar que el tejido se
arruge alrededor de la aguja
cuando aplica
pre slllas a los bolsillos, aberturas y
cinturas.
