5. FLEXI STITCH
PATTERNS
In addition to straight and zig-zag stitches,
your machine can produce a variety of olhe r
patterns.
Flexi stitches
These stitch patterns are used for sewing
knits and olher stretch fabrics. Flexi Stitch
patterns
are made by the side to side
movement of the needle along with the
backward and forward movement of lhe feed.
Pattern groups selecting
The knob localized to the right of panel on your
machine
lets you choose 10 groups, each
containing 2 patterns.
Raisethe needleto itshighestposition,adjustthe
stitch width selector to straightstitch position(
i).
This will see to it that the stitch pattern selector
will move far easier.
In order to single out the desired pattern group,
just turn the knob, sliding the indicator through
the panel, until it positions one of the pattern
groups you've chosen .
After carrying out the embroidery selection, turn
back the stitch width selector to the zig-zag
po-
sition (
I)

The flexi-stitch only accepts stitchesworkswhich
have numeration in red. Aet upon the following
manner:
• Turnthe stitch length dialtothe left untilthe doi
on the dial lines upwith the dot onthe machine,
as shown.
Note: If for any reason the machine
does
not
start
sew
ing
your
des
ired
partem
after
aligning lhe two dot symbols, push-in on the
reverse stitch button .

Puntos flexibles
Estos disenos de punto se utilizan para
coser
tejidos de punto y otros extensibles. Los
dise üos de punto f1exible se producen por
el movimiento de la aguja de lado a lado y
el dei arrastre hacia atrás y adelante.
Selección de los
grupos de puntos

Levante laaguja hastala posición mas alta.Ajus-
te el selector de la anchura dei punto en la posi-
ción de costura recta (

Estoharacon que el seleetordei tipo de punto se
mueva mas facilmente.
Para seleccionar el grupo de puntos deseado,
gire elselector hastaque el indicador deslizando
por el panelle posicione a costura escojida.
Despues de efectuada la seleéción dei bordado,
vuelvael seleetorde la anchura en laposicióndei
zig-zag
(I ).
Lacostura extensible permite solamente costu-
ras de puntos que poseen, en el panel.nurnera-
cion en rojo. Proceda de la siguiente manera:
• Gire el dial de longitud dei punto hacia la
izquierda hasta que el punto sobre las Ifneas
dei dial quede alíneado con el punto de la
máquina, como se ilustra.
Nola : Si por alguna
raz ón la máqu ina no
empieza a cose r el diseüo requerido después
de alínear los dos puntos, presione sobre el
bot ón de puntada reversible.
