Make at least lour stltches, ending at po inl
(6).
• Raise presser 1001 and remove garmenl
from machine . Clip lhread ends .
• Carefully
cul buttonhole opening with a
seam ripper or small, sharp scissors.
Balancing the buttonhole
On some kinds of fabrics, lhere may be a
difference in lhe density of lhe slilches on
the righl or lhe left side ot lhe buttonhole.
This is easily
adjusled by lurning lhe balance
knob (1), in lhe cenler of the slilch lenglh dial
to balance the density of lhe stitching. A very
slighllurn of lhe dial will produce a noticeable
change.
• If lhe slilches on lhe righl side of lhe
buttonhole (A) are 100 open, turn lhe
balance dial slightly lo lhe r ighl , unlil lhe
density
01 lhe stitches increases .
• If lhe
stilches on lhe left side of lhe
buttonhole (8), are 100 open, turn lhe
balance slighlly lo lhe left, unlil lhe dens ity
of lhe
slilches increases.
After lhe buttonhole has been made and lhe
balance has been altered, relurn the balance
dial back lo its neutral pos ilion after ali lhe
buttonholes on the
garmenl have been sewn.

símbolo para realizar el cuarto tiempo.
• De un mínimo de
cuatro puntadas, termi-
nando en el punto (6).
• Levanle el prensalelas y
quile la prenda
de la máquina.
• Corte los
exlremos de los hilos.
• Corte el ojal con
cuidado , abriéndolo con
un
descosedor o con unas l ijeras
pequenas y de punta aguda.
Nivelación de ojales
En algunos tipos de tejidos. puede produ -
cirse una diferencia en la densidad de los
puntos bien en el lado derecho o en el
izquierdo dei ojal , Esla diferencia se ajusta
fácilmente
girando el bot ón (1) situado en el
centro dei dial de longilud dei punto , para
nivelar la densidad dei punto. Un giro muy
ligero dei
bot ón, producirá un cambio
nolable. .
• Si los puntos dei lado
derecho dei ojal (A)
están
demasiado abiertos, gire el botón
ligeramente hacia la derecha, hasta que
aumente la
dens idad de los punlos .
• Si los
puntos dei lado izquierdo dei ojal
(8) están
demasiado abiertos . gire el
nivelador ligeramente hacia la izquierda,
hasta
que la densidad de los puntos
aumente.
Después de haber realizado el ojal y de haber
a
llerado el nivelador. gire el bot ón nivelador
a su
pos íc i ón neutra, después de haber
completado todos los oja les de la prenda.
